Jan N & Sasha
Brandon is amazing! My GSD rescue was rejected by another training site that did not do one one-on-one with the dog and owner. I spoke with Brandon on the phone and knew that he was exactly what Sasha and I needed. His approach to training both the owner and the dog is the way to go. Not only can Sasha perform all of the basic commands, but the training has made her less reactive. If you want a well-trained dog, call Sky Soldier Dog Training!

Brandon has been so great in helping us teach our puppy how to be obedient. Brandon would make efforts to cater to each dog's needs and would give suggestions and tips for each dog owner as they worked through specific training with their dog. We thank Brandon for all the things he has taught us and for giving us advice moving forward as we continue to train our puppy. We never would've imagined we'd be taking our puppy on a walk with him by our side before this training program!!

We met Brandon from a friend who had great success with her older adopted dog. We knew bringing a puppy into our busy family we would need a GOOD dog that would listen and we could trust around kids. Brandon’s approach from the moment we reached out was professional and efficient. We loved how easy he made the training program and his consistent follow-up ensured that we got the value out of hiring him.
Jo S & Mato
I really can’t thank Brandon enough for helping me with my boy, Mato! I’ve wanted to put Mato in training due to his reactivity towards small rodents and cats and his horrible leash walking. Two months ago, a situation happened in my shared backyard involving him and a small dog due to Mato being territorial so I contacted Brandon. Since then, Mato has improved so much in his leash walking (we still get a little distracted but we just finished week 6!) and I’ve been able to trust him again playing with other dogs! Brandon took the time to teach me these skills and know that Mato wasn’t a bad dog, he just needed a little extra support. Thank you, Brandon!

We got a new rottweiler puppy and with that, we knew there would higher consequences for any negative behaviors she could develop. We knew we wanted to get training for her and to get her started as soon as we could. After some searches and calling around, we got in touch with Brandon and ultimately felt he was a great option. Part of my choosing him was that he works with you and the dog. It isn't just someplace you drop your dog off and someone works with the dog and you get them at the end of the day. Which turned out to be a great decision. Brandon was great he not only helped instill some basic obedience in my pup but also helped train me to be a good leader for my pup. Which I feel has been key to the upkeep and continuing obedience with our new pup. He has a great knowledge of dogs and their behaviors and a system that if stuck to and practiced will bear great results.

Chandini & Mia
Our lives have completely changed after training with Brandon. We used Brandon’s services a couple of months ago when our Mia (Jack Russell/mini poodle) was 6 months old. We came into the training exhausted and deflated - we had just finished a 4-week ‘puppy socialization’ course with another local training group where material was recycled each week and no tailoring to our specific dog’s needs. We left it feeling no stronger in handling Mia than when we had started. We had many sleepless nights and unfocused workdays trying to understand Mia and how to best train her and were spiraling.
We found Brandon and scheduled a 1:1 phone call consultation, where we explained all our concerns (obedience, nipping, pulling on leash, etc). Our biggest problem was Mia barking, specifically when anyone walked passed or came up to the screen door. Over the next 5 weeks, we focused on a different problem area each session and also built upon the previous session. Brandon made sure to explain what we were doing and WHY we were doing it. If a specific correction wasn’t working, Brandon appropriately escalated our approach to one that Mia would respond to. There was never a “one size fits all” solution.
Some of our biggest wins: Mia no longer tugs on walks, and goes to her place without needing correction during dinner time, and our biggest win>> Mia can now sit at the front door with the mailman walking up to her and not make a single peep
